Italian results of a survey on public risk perception of microplastics contamination in groundwater (binary data and KAP scores)

This study surveyed people in Italy about what they know and how they feel about microplastics (tiny plastic particles) potentially contaminating groundwater, which is a major source of drinking water. Both tables contain the results from a survey on risk perception of microplastics contamination in groundwater. The survey was available online, both in English and Italian, from 20/05/2024 to 08/08/2024 (dd/mm/yy) in Italy. Question numbering was continuous from 1 to 30 (sections 1, 2 and 3 of the survey). It means that the previous nomenclature (question Q1.1, Q1.2, ect) was renamed in this dataset as Q1, Q2 and so on to enable the analysis. [all_answers_binary.csv] Results of the survey presented as binary data. The csv file contains the respondent cluster membership (0, 1, 2, or 3; defined after a non-hyerarchical cluster analysis), respondent id (numeric), and all the options available for each question. 1 means that the respondent chose that option, whereas 0 means that the respondent did not chose that option. This dataset was used for most of the statistical analysis performed. [datacombined-italy2.csv] KAP scores associated with each question and overall Knowledge (K), Attitude (A), Practice (P) and risk perception scores, per respondent. Respondent id (numeric), cluster membership and demographic data is also presented here. This dataser was used for most of the KAP analysis performed.
