Tracing microplastics in marine Isopods
Summary
This study investigated microplastic uptake in marine isopods by reviewing existing research on accumulation in these common crustaceans. The work highlights the role of isopods as ecological indicators of coastal microplastic contamination and their potential to transfer plastic particles through marine food chains.
