Purifikasi Dan Uji Degradasi Bakteri Mikroplastik Dari Perairan Muara Sungai Musi, Sumatera Selatan
AI summary Read the abstract
This Indonesian study purified and tested microplastic-degrading bacteria isolated from the Musi River estuary in South Sumatra. Researchers identified bacterial isolates with plastic degradation capacity and characterized their degradation abilities under controlled conditions.

Exploration of Plastic Degrading Bacteria in the Musi River, PalembangCity
AI summary Read the abstract
This study identified and evaluated plastic-degrading bacteria from Indonesia's Musi River using phenotypic and molecular methods, including scanning electron microscopy to assess surface degradation. Three isolates — identified as Bacillus proteolyticus and Bacillus cereus — showed plastic degradation rates of 30–38%, suggesting the Musi River harbors bacteria with potential for bioremediation of plastic pollution.
Identifikasi Dan Distribusi Mikroplastik Pada Sedimen Di Aliran Dan Muara Sungai Musi Provinsi Sumatera Selatan
AI summary Read the abstract
This Indonesian study identified and mapped microplastic distribution in sediments along the Musi River and its estuary in South Sumatra, analyzing particle types and their relationship to sediment fractions. The work contributes to understanding how microplastics accumulate in tropical riverine and estuarine systems that deliver pollution to the ocean.
