Selective Fluorescence Staining of Microplastic in Water Utilizing Nile Red/surfactant Combination

Polymer Korea 2022 1 citation

AI summary Read the abstract

Korean researchers developed a method to selectively stain microplastics in water using a fluorescent dye combined with a surfactant, allowing microplastics to be detected without the usual filtering and separation steps. The technique could enable faster, simpler monitoring of microplastics directly in water samples.
