Penelitian ini mengkaji “Strategi Komunikasi Publik Pemerintah Kota Bandung Dalam Mengurangi Kantong Plastik” Adanya Peraturan Daerah Nomor 17 Tahun 2012 dan Perwal Nomor 32 Tahun 2019 tentang pengurangan kantong plastik di Kota Bandung mengharuskan masyarakat untuk mulai mengurangi kantong plastik salah satunya di retailer di Bandung. Hal ini dikarenakan Kota Bandung karena jumlah sampah di Kota Bandung yang saat ini sangat besar, sekitar 30% sampah anorganik dan 10% sampah anorganik adalah plastik. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah ) Mengetahui bahwa program kantong plastik berbayar pada pengecer di Kota Bandung dalam Pengurangan Kantong Plastik sudah tidak berjalan lagi. Metode dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Paradigma yang digunakan adalah Konstruktivis. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dokumen dan studi pustaka. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori komunikasi publik, kebijakan publik dan komunikasi lingkungan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan Kendala yang terjadi adalah masih banyak masyarakat yang menolak dan kebijakan yang masih belum memberikan rasa jera. Kata kunci: Komunikasi Publik, Kebijakan Publik, Komunikasi Lingkungan, Kantong Plastik Berbayar.
