Summary

This study evaluated the aquatic hazard of di(2-propylheptyl) phthalate (DPHP), a novel plasticizer increasingly used to replace regulated phthalates in plastic products. Like other phthalates, DPHP leaches from plastics into the environment and has potential endocrine-disrupting effects; this study provides ecotoxicological data to support its risk assessment.
