Source Data and Raw Images for “Oil-Coated Nanoplastics Induce Rapid Membrane Disruption and Severe Intestinal Injury”
Summary
This study found that tiny plastic particles coated with oil can quickly damage cell walls and cause serious harm to intestinal tissue. The research suggests that when microplastics mix with oils (like from food or pollution), they may become more dangerous to our digestive system than plain plastic particles alone. This matters because we're increasingly exposed to microplastics through food and water, and understanding how they interact with other substances helps us better assess health risks.
The raw data have been provided as a compressed archive file (oilplasticpaperrawdata.zip) together with the revised submission. This archive includes three folders containing the raw data for the main figures and Supplementary Information, as well as the associated source data file (source_data.xlsx).
