In this context, the tyre stands out as an example of a material that, when improperly discarded, can cause irreparable damage. Therefore, this work aims to analyse the possibility of incorporating shredded tyre rubber granules into the production of soil-cement bricks, proposing an alternative way to make use of unusable waste in the environment. For the characterisation of the soil, particle-size analysis, liquid limit and plastic limit tests will be carried out. The cement used in the composition of the mixture will be CP II E 32, and the shredded rubber waste underwent particle-size analysis to define the grain-size range to be used. For the tests, additions in proportions of 1%, 1.5% and 2% of shredded tyre waste will be made to the soil-cement mixture and compared with the reference soil-cement brick without the addition of the waste through simple compressive strength and water absorption tests, proposing a possible way of using the waste that would be discarded into the environment.
