Microplastics and Your Health Problems
Summary
This book introduces microplastics to a general readership, covering definitions, plastic additive health effects, types of microplastics, environmental detection methods, and links to human diseases. It serves as an accessible educational resource on how microplastics enter the food chain and may affect human health.
Microplastics are effects our marine ecosystems. This book introduces about microplastics and how microplastics effects our health. This book consists of eight chapters. The First Chapter give definition of polymers, plastics, biodegradation, and resins. The First Chapter also describes of resin identification code and various discovery in plastics industry. The Second Chapter deals with the different types of plastics additives and its health effects via food. The Third Chapter give definition of microplastics, nanoplastics, mesoplastics, microfiber, marine debris, nurdles, and microbeads. The Third Chapter also introduces the soureces and classification of microplastics, plastics waste generation per year in various country. The Fourth Chapter discusses plastics pollution causes and its effects. The Fifth Chapter has a special mention on plastics and its health effects. The Sixth Chapter provides on the microplastics sampling and microplastics identification. The Seventh Chapter describes about the microplastics sensor and its objectives. The Eight Chapter build a preliminary overview of single use plastics and how to reduceplastics pollution?

Toxic Effects of Micro‐ and Nanoplastics
This book provides a comprehensive overview of micro- and nanoplastic pollution, covering where these tiny plastic particles come from, how they spread through air, water, and food, and the potential health risks they pose to humans. It also reviews current methods for detecting and analyzing these particles, as well as strategies for cleaning them up from the environment.
Microplastics in Human Consumption
This book provides a comprehensive overview of microplastic contamination in human food chains, covering origins, types, and distribution of microplastics in seafood, drinking water, bottled water, honey, and sugar, along with detection methods and ecosystem impacts.
Microplastics in Environment
This book provides a comprehensive overview of microplastic pollution — covering where microplastics come from, how they spread through oceans, soils, and indoor air, the challenges of detecting them, and strategies for removing or reducing them. It serves as a reference for researchers and policymakers working to understand and address one of the most widespread environmental contaminants of our time.
Microplastic Pollution: Causes, Effects and Control
This book provides a comprehensive overview of microplastic pollution, covering analytical tools and techniques, sources and pathways of contamination, and impacts on both aquatic and terrestrial ecosystems. The authors emphasize the urgency of addressing microplastic pollution through collaborative efforts and sustainable solutions, while examining potential risks to human well-being.
Microplastic: Its Effect on Human Health
This review outlines how microplastics from single-use packaging, bottles, and consumer goods enter the food chain through ingestion and inhalation, serving as carriers for toxic chemical additives and adsorbed pollutants that pose risks to human health.
