This thesis examined the diet of Auchenipterus osteomystax fish larvae in tributaries of the Upper Parana River in Brazil and investigated microplastic ingestion, finding that larvae from different habitats had varying diet compositions and microplastic exposure. The study contributes data on microplastic ingestion in early-life stages of freshwater fish.
