Evaluation of life cycle in the process of production and management of PVC waste by LCA method and prediction of toxicity (TEQ) effect of dioxins using Artificial Neural Network method and nonlinear regression
Summary
This study assessed the full life cycle environmental impacts of PVC plastic production and disposal, using artificial intelligence to predict dioxin toxicity from incineration. PVC is a major source of hazardous plastic waste, and better end-of-life management could reduce toxic emissions and microplastic generation.
Today, using plastic tools and materials to meet executive and design needs is considered an integral part of industries such as the construction industry. Among these materials, PVC pipes in equipment and installations or UPVC windows could be mentioned.
