Author Correction: The accumulation of microplastic pollution in a commercially important fishing ground
Summary
This notice is simply a correction fixing a data-labeling error in a chart from an earlier study on microplastic pollution in an important Irish Sea fishing area, it doesn't report new findings. The original research found that microplastics build up on the seafloor in this fishing ground, which matters because these tiny plastic particles can enter the seafood we eat, though this correction itself doesn't change what we know about health risks.
