Annotation. Tourism in the modern world has become the engine of development of many processes: economic, technological, communicative, etc. The level of tourism development also has a great influence on architecture: the demands for authenticity contribute to the creation of distinctive objects that attract people's attention and generate a desire to visit this or that place in the world. Hotels are an integral part of the tourism industry in both urban and nonurban environments. More and more people want recreational services in a natural environment, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. At the same time, the architecture of hotels is oriented towards the manifestation of the regional characteristics of a particular place. This article presents an analysis of current experiences in hotel construction, taking into account local conditions and innovative technologies.
