Pesisir merupakan lingkungan yang sangat penting karena memiliki beragam sumber daya alam. Namun, keberadaan sampah plastik dapat menganggu ekosistem pesisir dan mengancam keseimbangan lingkungan. Sampah plastik yang terbuang sembarangan dan tidak dikelola dengan baik sering kali berakhir di perairan, terutama di laut. Proses degradasi yang lambat dari plastik menyebabkan bertambahnya jumlah mikroplastik di ekosistem perairan. Upaya yang dilakukan untuk mengatasi masalah ini perlu melibatkan pendekatan yang komprehensif termasuk edukasi pada anak-anak tentang dampak buruk sampah plastik terhadap ekosistem perairan. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan pada tanggal 21 Agustus 2023 di MIN 32 Kecamatan Mesjid Raya Kabupaten Aceh Besar. Peserta yang hadir sebanyak 15 orang. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan dengan tahapan persiapan, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi. Kegiatan ini juga diiringi dengan permainan edukatif terhadap anak-anak yang terlibat. Berdasarkan pelaksanaan kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PKM) diambil kesimpulan bahwa sampah plastik memiliki dampak serius terhadap ekosistem perairan dan kehidupan laut. Kegiatan edukasi ini dilakukan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran anak-anak sejak dini tentang bahayanya sampah plastik terhadap ekosistem perairan.Kata kunci: Edukasi, ekosistem, sampah plastik, siswa.
