Summary

Researchers investigated the historical deposition of microplastics along the Shenzhen Dapeng Peninsula coast, analyzing their surface characteristics, polymer composition, and potential pollution sources to understand the accumulation trends of nearshore microplastics.

Study Type Environmental

Plastic garbage flows into the ocean through various tourxs, and the degree of pollution of marine plastic has become increasing and has become a global environment. Studies at home and abroad have shown that micro -plastic seriously harms the health of marine life and human life. The Dapeng Peninsula and its surrounding waters have been used as an important development area for coastal tourism and marine fisheries, and have played an important role in the overall planning of Shenzhen's economy and marine resources in the province. In order to investigate the impact of micro -plastic on the local marine resources, this experiment detected the surface characteristics and components of micro -plastic to investigate the deposition trend and characteristics of the near -shore microplastics in Dapeng Peninsula, and identified the beginning of the pollution of the Eastern Microplastics of Dapeng Peninsula. And analyze the potential causes of micro -plastic pollution. The results showed that there were a large number of micro -plastic fragments and particles deposited in the near -shore waters near the Dapeng Peninsula, and marine fisheries and contemporary coastal tourism may be the main influencing factor affecting the deposition of micro -plastic deposition near the Dapeng Peninsula.
