This review paper looks at how the world can better reuse plastic waste—like turning it into building materials, sports equipment, or energy—instead of letting it pile up or pollute the environment. Reducing plastic waste this way matters for your health because unmanaged plastic often breaks down into microplastics that contaminate our water, food, and air. By recycling plastic into new products, communities can cut pollution while also creating economic value, a win-win approach known as a "circular economy."

Plastics are being produced, used, and deposited in the environment at an exponential rate worldwide. Furthermore, improper handling of plastic garbage raised concerns about pollution. The management of plastic garbage is a global problem and a bigger obstacle to the sustainable survival of the developing nations with a significant amount of this waste. A circular economy can increase the formation of new value-added materials while reducing environmental degradation throughout the system. This study has explored the potential use of waste plastic in many areas, including building construction, sports and automotive components, and energy production. In this report the waste management of plastics is narrated with respect to the sustainability and circular economy.
