It was compiled through a systematic literature review following PRISMA 2020 reporting principles, drawing on studies from Africa, Asia, Europe, and North America.For each data point, the following parameters are recorded where available: study ID, year of publication, country or region, plastic type (HDPE, LDPE, PET, and others), plastic fraction (% by weight), sand particle size (mm), compressive strength (MPa), density (kg/m³), reported application type, and testing standard referenced.The dataset covers plastic fractions ranging from 5% to 100% by weight, compressive strength values from 0.78 MPa to 77.00 MPa, and density values from 706.5 kg/m³ to 2070.0 kg/m³. It is intended as a reusable open research resource for studies on circular construction materials, plastic waste valorisation and composite brick performance.Researchers are encouraged to use, extend, and build upon this dataset for replication studies, meta-analyses, and novel modelling frameworks in the field of sustainable construction materials.
