Model configuration files for coupled DHSVM-FVCOM microplastic transport simulations in the Delaware River Basin

This dataset contains model configuration and river-coupling input files used for the coupled watershed-estuary microplastic transport simulations in the Delaware River Basin. The files support the manuscript “Coupled watershed and estuary modeling reveals estuarine retention of microplastics in the Delaware River Basin.” The archive includes DHSVM-MP input namelists, FVCOM-MP namelist files, plastic-transport parameter settings, and FVCOM river forcing/coupling files generated from DHSVM outputs. DHSVM configuration files are provided for the airborne microplastic source case and wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) source scenarios using the 25th, 50th, and 75th percentile WWTP effluent concentration assumptions. File names ending in 2012 and 2013 refer to water-year setup periods, not calendar-year labels; together these configurations cover the simulation period used in the manuscript. The River_coupling folder contains FVCOM river input NetCDF files and corresponding namelists for the baseline coupled case and the WWTP source scenarios. These files define the river/coupling inputs passed from DHSVM-MP to FVCOM-MP, including the river forcing setup used to drive estuarine microplastic transport.
