PAX6-ECOSYSTEM | module 1/11 : WaterLoop IA: An anticipatory investment mechanism for wastewater recycling infrastructure related to generative AI

This technical and economic document presents WATERLOOP AI, a mandatory anticipatory investment mechanism designed to finance wastewater recycling infrastructure for datacenter cooling. In response to the growing water consumption of generative AI (especially visual AI), the mechanism replaces the logic of deferred compensation with a levy calculated one year before actual water consumption, based on a realistic projection of required volumes. Funds are immediately directed toward the construction of recycling units near datacenters. The addendum extends the mechanism to the PAXIS-GRADE ecosystem (collectible card grading service): · Automatic redistribution of 5 credits per digital grading (33% of the cost) and 15 credits per full physical service (30%). · Financing of computational footprint (datacenter heat) and logistics footprint (land, air, sea transport). · Creation of an ocean cleanup module through a micro-contribution on maritime shipments, with certified partnerships and eventual deployment of autonomous buoys for microplastic collection. Detailed contribution matrices (from 50,000 to 1 million users, 1 to 10 cards per year) show that WaterLoop IA’s share is structurally constant (31.9% of total revenue), ensuring predictable funding: for example, €27.5 million per year for 1 million users grading 5 cards each, equivalent to 2–3 recycling stations.
