Development of Epoxy Binders Modified with Heat-resistant Thermoplastics to Create Reinforced Composite Materials
Summary
This study developed epoxy binders modified with polyarylsulfone thermoplastics, using stepwise curing to produce fiberglass composites and microplastics with controlled deformation-strength properties and increased tensile strength. The work demonstrates that blending epoxy oligomers with heat-resistant thermoplastics improves the mechanical performance of reinforced composite materials.
Binders based on a mixture of epoxy oligomers modified with polyarylsulfones with controlled deformation strength properties have been developed. Using the stepwise curing mode, fiberglass and microplastics with increased tensile strength were obtained
